Chris Glass is the Global Director of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion at Soho House & Co, leading strategy and execution of DEI initiatives across the company's +40 Houses and over 100K members. These images were taken as part of a private marketing commission, with a brief to develop aspirational, luxurious travel images and portraiture.
The USM Healthcare Medical Equipment Factory was established in 2012 and is the first company in Vietnam to produce cardiovascular products such as balloon catheters, coronary stent systems, and intravenous catheters. USM is led by a woman CEO and founder. Mailee was commissioned to photograph the development process behind some of the company’s most popular products as well as the company’s inclusive staffing at all levels.
Founded in 2009, Indies Capital Partners is one of the earliest alternatives managers focused on Southeast Asian region. Headquartered In Singapore, the firm has evolved into a top-quartile leading alternative asset manager in the region, with strategies spanning private credit and private equity. Mailee was commissioned to document the more lighthearted side of the company during an internal team retreat in Bangkok.
The Feminist Finance Forum I & II, hosted by the United Nations ESCAP, convened women entrepreneurs, investors, financial service providers, policymakers, thought leaders, ecosystem enablers, representatives from civil society and women grassroots organizations, and academia. These interactive events included a diverse mix of plenaries, concurrent sessions, as well as side-events and networking spaces. Mailee documented three days of activities for both forums.
TEKY is a premium STEM education platform for K-12 students in Vietnam, founded in 2017. TEKY mainly provides computer programming, coding, robotics and engineering, 3D printing, AI, AR/VR education services for 5-18 year old, preparing children for a digital, tech-focused future. The brief for this commission was to document an evening of after-school activities and get a sense of the company’s inclusive values to propel girls to the forefront of STEM industries.
